Alexandria (Alex) Garcia

About me: I am 24 years old, born and raised in San Antonio. My career has mostly been centered around Security operations. I graduated from St. Mary's University in 2021 ( in 3 years) and am a HS Alumni of NSITE (formerly BCHS).

Fun Fact: I have an adventurous spirit as it concerns food and culture. I will try almost any food or cultural experience.

How do you help generations excel?

I strive to show people who think they "can't" to KNOW they absolutely CAN (with God) ! I think that can sometimes be the most powerful activator for people to really work to change their circumstances.

About me:

I have lived in San Antonio Tx. For 6 years. I am originally from a small town in Northeast Texas. I work as a Volunteer Manager at Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Prior to working at BBBS , I supervised programs for individuals with special needs for 20 years.

Fun Fact: I adore my dog niece, Nova Jean.

How do you help generations excel?

I advocate for mentorship because for most, having a mentor means guiding someone through their journey, offering wisdom, support, and encouragement along the way
